Your role as a radiation therapist is a vital one on our team of cancer-fighting specialists. As radiation oncologists, we count on you to deliver our prescribed doses of radiation efficiently and effectively to every patient under our care. As physicians concerned about our patients’ quality of life, we count on you to remember that our patients see you every day of their treatments: you can assure that our patients understand that we carry out each treatment plan with respect and compassion for the well-being of these individuals and their families during this difficult time. We do not just “treat” a “cancer” in the many centers affiliated with our group. Rather, we offer a service to help ordinary human beings cope with the extraordinary demands of a life-threatening disease.
