Physicians Join Key West Cancer Center to Enhance Patient Care

KEY WEST, Fla. – 21st Century Oncology, the nation’s leading provider of cancer care services across multiple modalities, is pleased to announce two new Board Certified Medical Oncologists have joined the Marta A. Gonzalez Cancer Center in Key West. Carlos M. Castillo, M.D., and Thomas A. Marsland, M.D. will now provide medical oncology services at the center. The Marta A. Gonzalez Cancer Center is now able to offer local cancer patients both radiation therapy and chemotherapy services in one convenient location.

SAN FRANCISCO – Several physicians with 21st Century Oncology, the nation's premier cancer treatment network and largest radiation therapy provider, have been chosen to showcase their latest research developments at The American Society for Radiation Oncology (ASTRO) 56th annual meeting. ASTRO’s annual meeting is the premier radiation oncology scientific event that has over 11,000 attendees each year. This year, the meeting will be held from September 14-17 in San Francisco.

4th Annual Race Against Prostate Cancer Planned for September 27

LAS VEGAS - Two nonprofit groups are teaming up in Southern Nevada to raise awareness for prostate cancer and funds for local cancer patients during Prostate Cancer Awareness Month. 21st Century C.A.R.E., the foundation dedicated to providing financial aid to cancer patients in need, and the Las Vegas Chapter of Us TOO Prostate Cancer Support Group, will be the main beneficiaries of the fourth annual “This One's for the Boys!” 5K walk/run.
